My home, Saipan, and the Northern Mariana Islands were recently hit by a Category 5 Super Typhoon. With significant cuts to FEMA staffing and aid, public awareness is crucial to securing the assistance needed to support the islands.
Typhoon Sinlaku is the third major super typhoon to terrorize the Mariana Islands within the last 10 years, following Typhoon Mawar in 2023 and Typhoon Yutu in 2018. The repeated damage to essential infrastructure, combined with the economic slump post-COVID, have left the islands with barely any room to breathe.
All the profit from every single keychain here will be 100% donated to the Micronesian Climate Change Alliance. Donations are going to food, water, basic emergency supplies, fuel and transporation, temporary shelters, baby needs, and recovery and rebuilding supplies.
